Maerk Foundation Promotes Training for Infertile Women, Fellowship for Oncologists

Forging ahead with plans to build healthcare capacity, improve access to cancer care and advance people’s lives through science and technology, the Merck Foundation has partnered African countries to provide oncology fellowship, provide practical training for fertility specialists and empower infertile women.

This was disclosed at the 19th General Assembly of the Organisation of First Ladies of Africa (OAFLA) held at the African Union in Addis Ababa Ethiopia.

The Foundation trong partnership with African countries, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Foundation, Dr. Rasha Kelej, affirmed Merck’s long term partnership with African countries to provide oncology fellowship programmes, provide practical training for fertility specialists and to empower infertile women through access to information, health and change of mind-set through “Merck Cancer Access Program” and “Merck More than a Mother” campaign.
