Man 64 Defiles Six Years Old Girl in Lagos

The Gender Unit of the Lagos State Command has begun investigation into the case of one Habib Abdullahi, 64, for allegedly defiling a six years old girl (names withheld) in Ikorodu area of Lagos.

The State Commissioner of Police, Imohimi Edgal, made this known while parading suspects today December 11 at the Command Headquarters, Ikeja.

The Police Boss disclosed that during investigation, it was revealed that on December 3 this year at 10am or thereabouts, the suspect – a carpenter – took the survivor into his room and defiled the minor with his fingers.

Edgal added: “The child's mother. Mrs. Obinna (last name withheld) noticed that her daughter was unnecessarily irritated and withdrawn.”

The mother was said to have continued questioning the child, who then divulge what “uncle Abdullahi” did to her. “Investigation is ongoing, suspect will be charged to court soon”, Edgal vowed.
