Female Lawyer in Police Net for Assaulting Teenage House Help

The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Edgal Imohimi, has arrested a female legal practitioner, Tolu Olaoye of No 5 El- Shaddai Crescent near Unique Estate Baruwa, Ipaja, Lagos for allegedly abusing of her 15 years old house help, Abigail Opebiyi.

The CP, known for his prompt actions on all issues concerning domestic violence and abuse, ordered for her arrest after seeing the picture of the victim trending on the internet inflicted on her by the female lawyer Tolu.

Edgal was said to have ordered operatives of the Command to rescue the victim and fish out the suspect, who is now undergoing interrogation at the Gender section of State Police Command, Ikeja.

According to the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Chike Oti, the suspect would be charged to court on Monday December 18 this year.
